4.2.19 - 5KM Walk Poster Process

I used Photoshop to create the photographic posters for 5KM Walk. I used Impact for the big titled ‘5KM Walk’ and the subheading is Arial for the top heading, dates, time and location within the centre alignments. I think it looks working because it looks like an advertising campaigns to promote and join in the 5km marathon for the cancer research charity. I found the free stock image from Pexel.com and Freepik.com is free to use stock images, vectors and icons is worth to use for the future graphics and editorial designs. 

I used the poster in Adobe Illustrator for 5km walk for the charity. I used colours of silhouette because they are welcoming and friendly at Walsall College. I used the heading is ‘Take Part in Our 5KM Walk’ in centre alignment and used the subheadings for the time and address. I used red strip at the bottom of the trademarks and Walsall College logos. I used white background because I like simple and sensible.

The second poster I developed the steps pattern because I like to create the different things that can be interesting.

The third poster I used blue background with the big footsteps patterns is looks like the mountain walks that represents active and challenging. It seems more practical and not professional at higher creativity. But, I am happy with it because it looked like a real advertising campaign because it looked effective, technical and useful tools for promotional material. I used the texts into left alignment because I want to see how if it looks working or not.

The last poster I used move the texts into centre alignment.

Was so wonderful to see #WalsallCollege Art and Design BTEC show down in the Saddler Centre, some fantastic work on display and so great to get to meet the students and be inspired by them and their hard work. Every year I see something new, something exciting, and it's lovely to get to see these students on their own Art Journeys, on the same course I studied.
