ALCMENE ZERVOUS did not fit in with her family expectations of her. Her mother wanted to arrange a marriage with a wealthy family and her Father wanted her to take over the family business. However Alcmene had her own idea of what she wanted her life to look like and it started with a young man named Amphitryon. She had always had feelings for him, he was always kind, warm and generous to her.. to Alcmene he was perfection-- and he was all she wanted.

It was the early 80s when Amphitryon finally worked up the courage to invite Alcmene to dinner, she quickly accepted and the two began to date from there. They married in Mykonos, Greece in 1987 and Alcmene branched away from her families money to work in fashion, where she felt she was better suited. Her now husband, Amphit however opened his own food store consisting of his families’ olive oil and local breads, cheeses and wines.  

After three years of marriage it became painfully clear that they were unable to have a child; this devastated Alcmene who wanted nothing more than to start a family with her husband. The pair fell into some hard times emotionally by not communicating and Alcmene began to feel incredibly guilty that she could not give her husband the life he wanted, it was destroying her; to not be able to have the one thing she had always wanted. Suffering from depression and anxiety Alcmene needed to get out of Greece-- far away where people didn’t know her.. so when her husband suggested America she jumped at the chance to start over and maybe it could bring them closer together again.

Colton Rogers had a very happy childhood, surrounded by love and entertainment from the moment that he took his first breath. Despite living in a fairly calm and boring city, he never grew bored and he never ran out of things to do as he made his own fun, usually playing with his friends exploring the neighborhood, their imaginations running wild. And he had many friends. It was hard not to like him. Kids knew that he was fun, he was nice and he always seemed to have fresh baked goods at home. Parents knew that he well behaved, he was grounded and he was smart. It was obvious to everyone that met the boy that he was going to do something special in his life. But no one really knew what that was, not even Colton. When he was questioned about what he wanted to do when he grew up, who he wanted to be, he seemed to have a new answer every single time.

His mind changed with the seasons, but no one could say that he didn’t give his dreams his all. When he wanted to be a basketball player, he stayed outside until he mastered the hook shot, well into the early morning. When he wanted to be a wrestler, he worked out until his entire body ached, every spare minute that he had spent in the gym. An artist, a teacher, a skateboarder. The word can’t was not in his dictionary. It wasn’t until he was sixteen that something finally stuck and Colton realized that more than anything, he wanted to go into the police force. He had always had a great appreciation for life though the older he got, the more he began to notice how much was wrong with the world and just how many people were willing to waste the time that they were given or sit on the sidelines and let it pass them by.

He was going to make a difference for those people, and for the people that felt burdened by them. His family had their doubts, everyone did, but he knew that this was the dream he had been looking for and with his will and determination, it wasn’t out of his reach. Two years before college his hard studying began. Watching every crime documentary he could get his hands on and checking every police related book out of the library, Colton was going to be on top of the game, he was going to make sure that nothing stood in his way. But his small town had limited school options so as hard as it was, he said his goodbyes to his family and bought a one way ticket to London. He had heard of a school there that sounded like a place of dreams, broken or whole, welcoming troubled students with open arms. He was far from that himself but what better place to prepare him to deal with criminals than a school full of delinquents?

Living in Coolsville, Ohio meant that life was never normal. The town on it own had it secrets - deadly secrets. Judy Reeves never thought she would get mixed up in all but that all changed her junior year of high school. Judy, the perfect daughter. A straight A student and popular girl at school. Not for her money, but for her kindness. you see Judy might have come from wealth but her parents were a bit more on the hippier side of things. Their daughter was intelligent, in the top percentage of her class and never used her power to traffic terror or intimidation. Instead, she used it to help others. Which is why Judy volunteer to tour others to help them with school. That’s where she met Brad Chiles. The boy needed help with math, at least she thought he did. In reality Brad was perhaps one of the smartest kids from the wrong side of the tracks. He only used tutoring as an excuse to get close to Judy. After all a girl of her stature would surely never fall for someone like him but she did. Judy fell hard for Brad. There was a connection there that she had never experience with anyone else before. He understood her better than she understood herself sometimes and that meant a lot considering she often felt invisible in her opulent lifestyle. 

In no time Judy and Brad began dating, much to her father’s dismay. But she didn’t care. She was happy and that’s what mattered most. So, when the time prom rolled around it was a no brainier that the two went together. The only thing is the town was on high alert. The night that prom was supposed to be taking place was the 20th anniversary of the Coolsville murders.  In 1974 a string of murders took place in the small town. At the center of these murders was Rodney Loomis, an outcast who was pushed too far one day and took his revenge out on the student body. The murders finally stopped little did Judy know she was somehow tied to the town's dark past. No one thought anything of the anniversary but Judy’s mom was wry of the entire thing. She tried to reason with her daughter, begging her not to go to prom that night. Except Judy didn’t listen. She wanted to spend the night with her boyfriend. If only Judy had heeded her mother’s warning because that night someone came to a prom in a Rodney Loomis mask and next thing you know the gymnasium was covered in red. There was a total of five people dead at the end of the night. The horror that happened twenty years ago had come back to haunt them. Judy and Brad barely made it out alive. It wasn’t until later Judy found out that her mother grew up with Rodney. The two were best friends and Rodney was even in love with her mother. Of course her father had gotten in the way and which pushed Rodney to his crime.  With that lingering over her head Judy knew she had to leave.

Brad had already had a love for the paranormal so together the two decided to decided to hop in Brad’s van and travel the U.S ghost hunting. In a way it gave Judy closure. Ghosts she could deal with. She always believed in them too, after all coming from Coolsville the first thing you’re taught is the haunted history of the town. But real people? They were the real monsters. That was the one thing she couldn’t face. From that day on she vowed never to return to Coolsville unless she absolutely had to now. Now Judy dedicated her life to helping others in this life and the next.

Iris Cadwell was born on April 6th in Athens Greece on a rainy afternoon. And what always comes after the rain? A rainbow. Which is why her mother named her daughter Iris. Ever since Iris was a little girl she was very compassionate about everything. She loved people, animals, nature. She saw the good in everything. Which as Iris got older her compassion and forgiving nature got her into trouble.

She didn’t have many friends in school, and the ones she was friends with she wasn’t very close to them. Iris was completely fine being alone though, she enjoyed the peace a tranquil forest brought, or the trickling of a rushing river. It was’t until high school that she got pushed into the wrong crowd. Being the person Iris was she thought the delinquent clique of kids deserved a chance to be heard. It wasn’t before long the kids of the group they began using Iris to do their dirty deeds since she was so gullible and believing their lies.

One night her so called friends asked Iris to keep a look out as they stole some alcohol and many of other things at their local grocer. Iris did her job thinking nothing of it. The plan was to steal the things and leave Iris behind to take the blame. But one boy saw it all. Zeke O’Hara. When it was time for the group to leave Iris behind Zeke grabbed the girl by the wrist and pulled her out the store and down the street until they were out of sight. Iris tried to fight back begging to be taken back to her friends but Zeke soon explained that she was being set up. So Iris dropped her old group and began just hanging out with Zeke. He was the classic tall, dark, and mysterious. Iris had never met a person like Zeke before and everything about him lured her in. Soon all her time was spent with the boy and for the first time in her life she was beginning to fall in love.

Being sent to Walt was a big shock to everyone. As much as Iris loved Athens she wanted to explore the rest of the world. There were so many things she hadn’t discovered yet so when she heard about Walt she immediately applied. She hadn’t told her parents about it, but she was half expecting not to get in anyways. After a few months she get her letter of acceptance in the mail. Her family was a bit uneasy that Iris did this without telling anyone, but they were supportive of her dreams anyway. The hardest goodbye was Zeke. The whole thing was bitter-sweet and Zeke approved of her going as long as she was happy too.

He was smart, he was kind, and he generally stuck to himself. If he wasn’t working on his car, Thomas could be found with his nose tucked into a book and being scolded for getting grease on the pages by the librarian. Tommy was a good kid with a good heart and easily made people laugh whenever he bothered to talk to anyone at all. He was shy, and usually couldn’t focus on a conversation without bouncing around from topic to topic.

His best friend was his cousin, and he never expected his own family to get him into trouble. Jackson Eaton’s grades were slipping and when he came to Thomas for help, the boy expected some tutoring sessions and then things would be fine. Instead, Jackson stole one of his papers for English and turned it in with his own name at the top. Both boys got into trouble and expelled from the school, Thomas was sent to Walt Academy.

He never expected to see Elizabeth roaming the hallways but it all made sense once he found out that she was simply visiting a relative. Since then, the two have been writing each other almost every day and calling each other once a week. With her, things aren’t so bad here in London.

She’s still with Jason. Carrie still doesn’t know how to break free from his hold. For a while Jason had gotten better. The hitting had stopped and he put down the bottle for a while. Carrie thought they could be happy again like they used to but of course Jason Teague was a hurricane. There was no denying that and soon he fell back into his old ways and began hitting Carrie again. Of course she took it. She loved him after all. Carrie still had blind faith that Jason would change once again. She knows that her love can and will save him and if her love can’t then maybe something else will - a baby.

biography ---

paula has never known what it’s like to want for something. if she so much as mentioned an item, it was in her hands by the next day. her rich father’s little princess, she was spoiled to say the least. though that came with a price. her family expected her to be perfect. perfect grades. perfect smile. perfectly polite. it was hard to uphold their standards all the time, but she did okay until the teenage years. that’s when it started going downhill, and she began to rebel just for the sake of rebelling. long story short, she ended up with a scolding from her parents and sent off to boarding school in california.

paula knew the rule, the same one she’d broken that landed herself in this mess to begin with. no boys. she was in elias to focus on building a future for herself. but, damn it if colton rogers didn’t come along. she knew from the moment she met him, he wasn’t going to be easy to forget. now three years later after an on again, off again start to their relationship, she still hasn’t told her family she’s seeing anyone... while planning her wedding. she can’t see a future without this man. but she doesn’t want to lose her life of luxury, either.
