Yes i’m a little late to the party, BUT, I just finished Medici, the Netflix series, and omg it was amazing. First of all, makes me want to fly straight back to Florence ASAP. Yes I knew of Catherine de Medici, Queen of France, but man Cosimo and Lorenzo were something else. 

Richard Madden did an amazing job in the first season. How off putting he was, so cold and stone faced, yet so emotional all the time. His eyes say it all and damn is he gorgeous. Did anyone else find it ironic that his father in law was Walter Frey????? Anyone? No? Just me? I kinda yelled at the TV when they shook hands. “He kills you!” Then I laughed. Of all the actors to hire. 

If you enjoy period drama shows, Medici is not one to skip.

Dudes, I just realized that the actor who placed Walter Frey in Game of Thrones also played Argus Filch in the Harry Potter Series.

So I live in a duplex and last night while I was watching Game of Thrones I heard my neighbor scream, “YES LIL BITCH KILL THE MAN.” At the exact time Arya sliced Walter Freys throat. 

So I was like, okay this could be one of two things. 

1. He is watching Game of Thrones

2. I don’t have another explanation 

Anyways today I was outside, bringing the trash to the curb (No not  myself, the actual trash) and I saw him, so I said hi and he was like hi and we were talking and finally I casually mentioned Game of Thrones and he was like “I fucking love that show.” 

We were outside for an hour and a half just talking about Game of Thrones it was so amazing.

GOT SPOILER ... Did anyone else catch that what Arya did to Frey is exactly the story of the Rat Cook which Bran told his companions in the episode immediately after the Red Wedding? (S3E10). "The Rat Cook is the subject of legends and myths in the Seven Kingdoms. According to these legends, a King once paid a visit to the Nightfort, then the chief castle on the Wall. Due to some offense by the king,[1] the cook killed the king's son and served his flesh in a pie to the unknowing king. The king enjoyed the pie so much he asked for a second helping.
