I don’t think Graham loved Rosa. But I think he could have. I think that if they had made it out, they would have stayed together and I think that what they had could have been love if given time. That’s what I think makes their story so sad. There were so many opportunities for them. Not just Rosa and Graham but for the rest of the team sent to outpost Fristed. Walter could have started over and gotten the fresh start he wanted, Karina could have married Rof (I think that’s how you spell his name), Jonas could have watched his daughters grow up. They all had so much potential and I think that’s what makes this story a tragedy. Not just their deaths but the abrupt end of lives never begun.

What aaccent is this?

I've heard the way Harlan voices Arthur doesn't sound exactly like English accent (by what native BE speakers say), but I've heard a very similar one in two other podcasts:

The Strange Tales of Virgil Kaylock (younf Kaylock in particular)

The White Vault - Walter Heath

The sounds are sort of rounded, and the voice goes up pretty often, but it isn't an uptalk per se, and there is a very particular intonation. I think in The Strange Tales of Virgil Kaylock it was the most noticeable - young Virgil talks like this all the time. The actor playing an older version picked up a similar way of speaking by the end of series, but he talked differently at first.

Is this some kind of a RP? I've listened to several examples and they're all reminiscent of it but still different, and this accent is quite particular. I just like it a lot, so I'd like to find out if it's a certain one or just some coincidence.

I've been told the actor playing Walter is from Yorkshire, but I don't understand if that's it, and actors often pick up different accents for the characters than the ones they use irl 🤔
