I love how Casner is written in TWV. Like, you can tell he cares a lot for the safety of the Fristed group and he's trying so desperately to keep them all safe and alive. I also love that they didn't go the typical rugged, mean, survivalist route, he's strict on reminding people and advising them, but he still treats them as capable adults.
