just when you think you have some control over your mental illnesses they like to remind you they are in charge i guess but i just want to be in control again

the hardest part about having a mental illness is being surrounded by people that don't get how sadness is an illness- let me tell you, it's a fucking disease

i know you're sad mom and i know this is fucked up and i know i've broken your heart in a way that will take years to fix. i know i ruined your head and im sorry you couldn't fix mine. i know you're sad mom and it makes me sadder, so sad to the point where when you say "just please don't do anything to hurt yourself" you're saving me because that was all ive been thinking about. i know you're sad mom but one day i will tell you this and maybe it'll fix things. im just sorry for being such a fuck up. thank you for loving me from day one.

i wish there was a better word for being tired because we've overused "tired" to the point where if i say "i'm just really tired of dealing with this" no one even bats an eyelash. well here i am to say that i am tired. i am tired of being unappreciated and put at the bottom of the list. i am tired but i am not spending any more energy waiting for someone to understand how tired i really am
