There's been a little varnish mishap here at the #wanderingstudio. If you are an artist who paints in acrylic on wood and uses a satin varnish, please give advice on how to repair a layer of varnish that is streaky / cloudy due to uneven application. ❤️

Interesting. As much as I like seeing the expressive brushwork it seems like you’ve got a lot of complementary strokes going on. Do you typically paint in one direction for the most part?
I hadn't even thought of that, but yeah, I think I do, probably just from a lack of awareness about it! If this round robin comic panel ends up being painty enough I'll try varying up the stroke direction on it and see how that affects things; if not I'll give it a shot on the next doodle.
