I am a loyal just dance consumer. I have received every single mainline game since 4 for Christmans and have bought 1-3 recently. This year was no exception, though I do feel very kerfuffled that there is no physical copy. I’m not going to talk about my opinions of all the changes (or the song selection, ever since the vocaloid songs stopped coming I was devastated, it’s never been the same since. But whatever. If the void responds I may do a post on that)
But, when I saw those two guys interactions (didn’t know they had names til I looked it up, Jack rose and Wanderlust’s interactions) in that song. My shipping brain instantly activated. I have played just dance since I was a kid, I would have never thought I would be shipping JUST DANCE CHARACTERS.
Just dance have tried to have story before, never been particularly interesting. But I am happy about this if only for the gay. Sure they have had a bunch of songs from queer creators which I am pretty happy about, representation woo. But now I can grin from ear to ear while dancing to a song I didn’t care for because LOOK my SHIP! My parents must think I’m just really happy for a new just dance game.
In my opinion I think I prefer wanderrose over jacklust. It’s just more beautiful sounding. As I always ask, are there any fics already?
