Some toddler on the plane today was singing the ABCs all out of order and a guy just shouted “yes, girl, remix!”. I laughed so hard there were tears... until I realized I will have one of those children soon. Two of them to be exactly. The tears then turned into an entirely different thing. What if my girls never learn the ABCs properly because I will be that guy!
Waiting in a starbuck's lines always manages to hold some form of entertainment. And by that, i mean when you can’t help but ease drop on conversations & ones that a heated discussion involving the possibility that were all just one big simulation, and how we’re so far a head with technologically that we’re just memories being watched in the future by virtual reality right now... & as someone who’s big into this topic, i had to hold my tongue with not entering someone else’s conversation in the middle of public. Mostly because i hadn’t had my caffeine in take yet, but i was tempted.
They said lack of sleep causes your brain to eat itself. I never gave my thought to this until I stood in front of my keurig this morning wondering why the fuck nothing was coming out only to realize I hadn’t even closed the slot where my pod was. I think a vacation is needed!
It’s officially autumn! Most of you probably had to think ‘what the hell is autumn’ for a moment since it’s called ‘fall’ by most people. Either way, I LOVE IT! Bring on the cooler weather! I wanna go to a pumpkin patch. Watch horror movies. Drink hot cocoa and murder someone. You now, Fall shit!
I’ve come to the conclusion that there’s no greater act in life than cracking your knuckles. Not only does it make things feel looser and more fluid, but in certain scenarios, it just makes you look bad ass. All you’ve got to do is stretch those bad boys out, and bam - you’ve got yourself looking like you’re ready to go... you know, for times where you find yourself about to throw down; every day life.
This is actually my first time on a cruise. I’ve been on all kinds of other boats though, like...you know, non-cruise boats. Those ones. Is this your first time, too?
Clearly, I have grown attached to YouTube on my days off. There’s the chick, who googles translates song lyrics. I’m kinda obsessed with every one of the videos. my favorite was personally ‘wrecking ball’. this thing is like the best thing ever.. oh and also, I’m Lily.
Okay, but there are overwater hammocks in these villas and I don’t know what it is about a hammock that makes me feel like a kid? I’m currently swinging from it and leaping into the pool. Why do I have the maturity of a 10 year old right now? But, in all seriousness, I highly recommend it.
