Oh gosh!! It's been such an amazing weekend!! I celebrated my 41st birthday and reached 3k followers! I feel so loved and blessed! 🙏🏽❤️ . Thank you especially to Amy @ladyofthelibrary and Holly @_the_infinite_book_dragon for the birthday shout out! And thank you to Caryn @iam.caryn for the shout out that helped me reached 3k! It was so nice to see all the well wishes, emojis, gifs, and LASERS. 😂 . If you didn't get a chance to see my Story over the weekend, I visited the Art Warehouse in Westminster and the Long Beach Aquarium. I had fun at both places and will do a story on my small art shop haul. Monday, my actual birthday, was spent recuperating and photographing. Here’s my introduction for the October #planwithmechallenge. My name is Jennifer and I’ve been bullet journaling for a year now. It took me several months to figure out how to make bullet journaling work for me, but when I did, I just ran with it! . Pictured here are my two planning systems: my #writersbulletjournal in my Leuchtthurm 1917 @leuchtturm1917 and my Traveler’s Notebook #keelindori handcrafted by @ImperfectlyPerfekt for my real life/mommy life. I keep both separate because each of these parts of my personality needs her own space. My writer self loves the notebook grid format of the LT1917 for managing tasks for my WIP and reading goals. My mommy self loves the separate inserts in my Keelindori Traveler’s Notebook for planning appointments/events, budget tracking, menu planning, and keeping track what’s in stock in our household supplies. I also love the portability of the Traveler’s Notebook because I bring it with me whenever I’m out running errands. . I’m also a former middle school English teacher and currently a stay-at-home for our four children ages 9 years old and under. I love reading and collecting books 😏, and I’m currently working on my first novel—a YA fantasy inspired by ancient Filipino culture. I don’t have much spare time, but when I do, I like to practice lettering and I’ve been trying art journaling as another creative outlet. I also barrage my friends with frantic messages/texts over characters and books—heavy on the emojis too. 😆 . Happy Birthday to Mr. Ollivander! My wand from Pottermore is Rowan wood with a dragon heartstring core, 13”, slightly yielding flexibility. The description of this wand is incredible! I can’t believe it picked me. . Since I was already at Pottermore, I also found out that my patronus is a dolphin. 🐬 I’m surprised, but dolphins are pretty cool. I also got sorted into my Ilvermorny house and it’s Thunderbird! Surprised here too because I don’t consider myself adventurous (except when it comes to food), but creating storms as it flies? Representing the soul of a witch or wizard? Yeah. I’m so there. . But the biggest surprise—I got sorted into Ravenclaw!! I KNOW. I CAN’T. Don’t get me wrong, Ravenclaw is boss, but I’ve been living my life as Gryffindor for the last 2324 years and I’m not sure what to do with myself. (I got sorted when OotP was the newest book. Yeah. I’m old.) Anyway, so, I think I’ll just call myself a Gryffinclaw. Has anyone ever sorted one way and then later sorted another way? (I did the Hogwarts sorting just for fun, thinking I’d get Gryffindor and was so shocked I got resorted to Ravenclaw.) . And here I am with my new wand from @wandwitchandwizard. I’ll post more pictures of it later this week because it’s gorgeous. I want to show you guys the leaf details on the barrel that I’m just 😍. Trees are my favorite so this wand is perfect for me! In case you haven’t heard, I was selected as a rep for @wandwitchandwizard! I’m so excited to represent Maeva’s work. She makes gorgeous wands like this one pictured here.
