Many lives were taken by the chaos of the Merge, but there are those who cling onto any hope of finding their lost ones. Fortunately, there is one person at the Crossroads who can find even the impossible.
I don't have a funny comment this time, I just legitimately think this guy is cool as hell hjkhjkh
The Crossroads of Ninjago City are something wonderful. A beacon of hope for those affected by the Merge, the promise of a better future... Just like the Imagination Nexus of Crux was, in the eyes of Dr. Albert Overbuild.
It's for this very reason that he formed a team that would ensure its protection. For the sake of all those that need hope.
Their name is Soaring Nexus.
When the Merge came to be, Dr. Albert Overbuild and the Nexus Force made it their immediate mission to help any and all of those who were affected by it, establishing refugee camps and providing with care, food, and any treatment needed at the Crossroads near Ninjago City.
It was no shock that many of the misplaced would wish to join their efforts too...
Random OC thoughts post-Dragons Rising s3 p2 tm
Khazri, being the Elemental Master of Souls, can communicate with the Spectral Lands, as well as its guardian. They help lost souls make their way there so they may be able to move on. However, with its guardian gone and in his place Thunderfang, his overwhelming power can cut Khazri's communication immediately.
On the same topic, Khazri can see the Dragonian ghosts naturally and potentially fight them thanks to their elemental power.
Corvus' whole deal being a private detective, he's been trying to help Arin find his parents for some time, having been approached by him some time before joining the Ninja.
While normally Corvus can always find a lead, there was nothing on Arin's parents. Nothing at all. No signs of a fight, of a creature following, remains, nothing. This led him to believe they couldn't possibly be dead... there'd be signs if they were.
Theta is having mixed feelings about the Ninja. Before the Merge, she disliked them and their tendency to somewhat overlook the slums of Ninjago City where she lived. No massive supervillains, but crime still rampant far too often.
After their return, however, they've had a more active role around those areas, as well as the Crossroads, making Theta feel conflicted about her dislike (plus being mellowed out by being on a team now). Both Hiya and Yuno think maybe she could start giving them a proper chance, maybe even befriend them...
Wane Corvus, private investigator of the Crossroads and member of the Sentinels.
One of the Skulkin from the Underworld misplaced after the Merge, Corvus has made a great name of himself. People of the Crossroads who have lost someone have all met him, and through great skill in surveillance and the gathering of information, Corvus is known as one of the best there is. All skills that are invaluable to the Nexus Force.
But there is one person who still eludes him. One who's origin, story, and very name are a mystery to him. That is Wane Corvus himself.
There were doubts at first, but the detective known as Corvus earned himself the respect and appreciation of the Crossroads' people as he who could find any who was lost.
And now in Soaring Nexus, he can do even more.
