What's promised is due, here are the characters fun facts!
Saavik: She owns a plush sehlat that was gifted to her by the Lady Amanda as a child. As a Vulcan, she wouldn't admit its a sentimental thing that she brought it on the ship, but at the same time, it's not like if she tells anyone that Mr. Mos is on the ship.
Kyral Ry'Anauk: He loves cocooning. Once his shift is over, he tends to go in his quarters and get confortable to hang out. As an Andorian, since he has chitin plates, he likes using weighted blankets, because he can feel them more easily.
Simon Masters: As mentioned in another post, he likes listening to music in the Jefferies tubes for the acoustics. He also enjoys many genre and likes to harmonize with the warp core when he works. He can tell from the tone what Warp Speed they are going to.
Dr. Joanna McCoy: While she is a doctor and advocates for a healthy eating, she has a sweet tooth and sneaks in sweets in her office. On another aspect, her perfume does also have a sweet undertone, but not cloying, and she only puts it on during special occasions, else it would get lost in the sterilized scent of sickbay.
Dr. Malachi Cohen: Has a lot of plants in his office and treats them like his babies. They all have names and he decorates their pots with stickers when he gets the gits of their temperaments (capricious with water, or grows resiliently in the most harsh condition). He fears artificial gravity failures because it disturbs their soils and threaten to break their pots.
Lila Velann: Begged, literally begged her mother for an Earth cat as a child because she saw and ambassador bringing his to a conference, but she was allergic to them. Had many betazoid cats instead and cherished them dearly.
David Marcus: While he doesn't seek to be compared to his father, he happens to have a similitude in the specific fact that he can go on an historical rant about the significance of his favourite Earth band in the legacy of rock and roll music and pop culture that will last more than half an hour if you don't stop him. (It's the Beatles, he's a huge Beatles fan) Its a wonder he can remember all of these facts along with all of the scientific notions he knows- that is a lot!
Kendi Bofane Teki: He needed glasses as a child and it made him very self-conscious. Despite having taken Retinax V and now being a recognized marksman, it can still do sometimes.
Demora Sulu: She loves to sing showtunes and has a great enjoyment of musical theatre. She was introduced to it by her Aunt Nyota when she was younger and fell in love with it. She sometimes invites Wane to watch recordings in her quarters.
Wane Perry: They especially enjoy complexe board games and often try to rope Terrance to play with them in the officer's lounge. They will spend hours planning sessions of tabletop roleplay or strategy games.
Elliot "Stocky" Stockton: He took up knitting when his wife was pregnant with their oldest, and made little hats and socks for all of his children. He still does so on occasion.
Dr. Tuyêt Duong: She has a soft spot for misunderstood creatures and animals, and considered becoming a veterinarian as a child. She especially like praying mantises and find them cute despite their mating behaviours.
Nurse Anise Freeman: She is quite a sportive person, and especially likes the swimming pool on the Eridani. She is thinking of organizing a swimming or a water-polo team on the ship.
Sopek: When asked, he will tell you that as a Vulcan, he doesn't have a favourite spatial object, as that would be illogical. That is a lie, and he in fact has a favourite, and it's just as niche and pretentious as you can imagine: the open star cluster NGC 265 in the Small Magellanic Cloud.
Terrance Riley: Terrance can and will do Irish music when given an instrument. He plays the bodhrán drum especially well and used to do so during family parties. He also loves to dance.
And that's all out fun facts for now!
