How do you square your very plausible thoughts about navigating Harry's public identities and My Policeman? They've been planning this project for quite a while, they must have a precise PR plan
It's his decision to do My Policeman, and how he'll release an album, play stadiums and play Tom all in the same year which is underlying most of my thinking. I might as well be explicit about what I'm anticipating.
I think because of My Policeman, and his desire to cut off potential criticism, he will be one step more explicit about his attraction to men at some point during the album campaign. I think this will probably be in his work. Either the next music video, as the sides suggested, or in the lyrics of the song. I don't think he'll engage with questions of sexuality in uncontrolled environments. He'll use his special saying nothing powers if pressed.
I think this will be accompanied by quite a lot of explicitly performing attraction to women, more than he has before. Dating Olivia Wilde is a big part of that, I also think it's probably not a coincidence that As it Were was the most intimacy between Harry and a woman on screen since the WMYB video.
I may be wrong of course, we'll know soon enough. But it's quite a fine needle he's threading.
