Male Classmate and I: *In class chatting about Markiplier and youtubers*
Classmate: Hey you two lovebirds, can you...(rest is unimportant)
Me: What? *Gives him a look like "what the hell are you on?"*
Male Classmate: No, sorry but no. *Kinda laughing* Not for the reason you're probably thinking of though.
Me: No. *sill like "what?"*
Classmate: What reason is that?
Male Classmate: I don't want to say, you'll probably think different of me for it. (Male classmate is still pretty new to the school.)
Me: *Immediately thinks he's gay.* I might know, but I don't want to say. (What follows is an awkward conversation of him trying to get out what I think and me trying to convey quietly)
Male Classmate: You're right. (Has a conversation about stuff with me. I tell him that I'm Bi and eventually that I'm in a relationship with a girl. We both kinda quietly laugh stuff off. Finally start working on homework. End of class female classmate who was part of the whole not the reason you think guesses right agrees to stay quiet. Is actually a popular.)
Me: *opinion of him doesn't change. Still a pretty cool guy.*
Stuff like that can be kinda awkward, and I'm grateful that most of the populars at my school are actually pretty cool. (At least the girls.) It's funny what happens in small town schools.
