Wanton Noodle - Encik Tan.
took a taxi and hurried to Disneyland...just in time for the afternoon show...after the parade under the crazy sun...we hid into this Cantonese restaurant for a break while Fu-In could catch up her lunch...
Duck Wanton Mee - Homst.
What: Wanton Mee Soup
Where: Nature Vegetarian Delights (Upper Serangoon Shopping Centre)
When: November 2018
just landed at HK-Airport, Fu-In already fell asleep...perfect timing for a quick lunch...this chāsīu is among the top 3 I’ve tried...
A plate of firm, springy noodles tossed in a mixture of homemade sambal chilli and lard, served with chunks of roast pork which comes with that crispy skin crackling and tender meat, as well as thick slices of fatty, succulent KL-style Char Siew coated in a thick, caramelised, flavourful sweet-savoury sauce. Remember to add that chilli sauce to up that oomph.Picture by @calvinwj This was Char Siew & Roast Pork Wanton Noodles ($5.50) from KL Shao Roast by Pearl Chua.
A unique and well-executed plate of old school Malaysian-style wanton noodles which see the bouncy noodles tossed in a thick savoury black sauce that contains shreds of crab meat, served with fatty slices of char siew (bbq pork), stripes of deep fried wanton skin, vegetables, along with their signature crispy deep fried wanton that's filled with crunchy water chestnut and crab meat instead of minced pork. At $4, you also get a bowl of soup with soft, plump crab meat dumplings swimming in it! Picture credit: Mysweetlittletooth This was Crabmeat Wanton Mee from Crabmeat wonton mee along Macpherson Road.
