Gregor my beloved, At long last!! 😍
The Empire sure likes its pits.
So Hunter has completely lost control of the team. He and Echo are the only ones who know this. Echo has lost all respect for Hunter. Hunter has long since decided he doesn't want to fight anymore (see the chipped 99 and skull paint on his armor). Hunter wants so badly to protect his people but he's losing track of what his morals are and he's inches away from a mental breakdown and can't see it. Omega is in the middle of all this trying desperately to win Hunter's approval, which she already has but can't see because Hunter's shit at showing it.
Basically, everyone is trying to distance themselves from the war and pretend that the Rebellion isn't happening, except for Echo, whose primary motivation will always be to fight alongside his vode.
Shit's fucked and I'm predicting right now that Crosshair and/or Hunter are going to die before the show ends. (Not necessarily this season, just the show at large)
Anyone thinking about how it was easier to convince Hunter to rescue a former separatist leader, when Echo was actively uncomfortable with doing so, than when asked to save a deserting "reg" clone in need of rescue, and Echo fully wanting to do so, it took a Omega's good nature to convince him to help and took Echo's persistence to even get them to go in the facility?
So, uh...that new Bad Batch episode, huh???
New Stormtrooper armor, an in-between step.
