Alt Title: 死の笑い：笑い女 Hello everyone, welcome to another addition to a Yokai Bijinga Series. Today we take a look at Warari Onna Warari Onna, literally translated as (Laughing Woman) looks liker any young lady in her late teens, so you won't see any distinguished appearance about her exact for her laughter. The Warari Onna resides deep on the mountains at the island of Shikoku. Warari Onna appears to other travelers on first, ninth, and seventeenth day of each month. Their laughter can often be heard at a far distance of the mountains late at night. Despite their appearance The Warari Onna are extremely dangerous Yokai. If travelers goes up to the mountain were The Warari Onna lives, the Yokai would point and laugh at the travelers, some of the travelers would laugh with the Yokai, however they will continue laughing even after the encounter and would eventually die from laughter. Those who don't laugh with the Warai Onna, would suffer from hallucinations from the encounter having hearing The Warari Onna's laughter and even visual illusions of the Yokai.
