Ugh fic that is subtly badly written is the worst.

Cause you open it and you're like oh

this is written in good proper English

there is sentence variety

diction seems nice

I can read this.

And then you keep going and it's just like

telling and not showing

and out of character in a way you can't pinpoint

but is still really distracting

and hits like every cliche in the fandom

but you keep going

and by the time you get to the end you hate yourself　

and you're ten minutes closer to your death.
