Warcats match the size of many dragons species, though imperials aren't one of them! Roc are among some of the largest of the familiars, while Aer Phantoms are among some of the smallest. Familiars run the gamut!

Terrato and Neron the Warcat Protector

When I saw the Warcat Protector familiar after I finished getting Terrato his genes...well. It was love at first sight!

My silly little headcanon is that Neron is actually larger than Terrato--and Terrato often hitches a ride on his familiar's back as they dart through the Shrieking Wilds. They blend into their scenery very, very well--so Terrato and Neron can hunt those tasty insects like true warriors, together forever! (Even though Neron doesn't really like bugs.)
