Today was my birthday and I had a really good day at work and a lot of people wished me a happy birthday (because I wore a sash that said birthday princess like a brat) but also all of my closest friends irl apparently forgot so I'm kinda,,, feeling things rn,,, and then feeling guilty for those feelings because I don't want to be selfish and overbearing,,,

I've noticed that bunch of writers (myself included) are feeling down about our writing, and dealing with art block, so I propose a rally! And since I don't know what else to do, I'm offering the top 5 people a fairy made custom and mailed to them as a prize. You get one point for each *engaged* comment you leave on a fic (specific moments you like, asking questions, etc) or sending asks to the author. Keep a list of screenshots that show your name and the name of the fic to be submitted at the end.

Let's say until the end of June 👀

no more than 2x comments per fic so we're reading lots of them.

Please be honest and fair; the spirit of this is the read NEW fics that you may have heard of or skimmed but not actually gotten to yet.

No offence to the big blogs but the hope is for some smaller creators to get new engagement.

The fic in question - set in the Fablehaven Verse!

You know I love Kestrel as an OC, and this one I really enjoyed because of how you framed the chaos in Warren's mind after his transformation. As I said before, poor squirrel boy lolol. It's cool to see the constant focus and refocus he has to do to remember that the humans around him are friends, not predators, and how even his own home feels foreign to an animal brain.

I could not handle that much constant running lol; I already feel like I have a squirrel in the brain on my work days.
