I’ve always thought about Peggy taking over the duty of care from Sharon’s parents once she turned 16, or maybe even earlier, at 14.

Imagine Sharon Elizabeth Carter in the 90’s. ( we’re talking about my timeline of events, in which Sharon is born in 1984 and is at least 29 or 30 by the time we see her in CA:TWS ). Still below ten years of age and a sunny, glowing little child, being forced into dresses and making frequent appearances for the sake of the family. Behind and under the makeup and designer clothing’s just a little girl, who has the excessive need to carry around a small chain of paper clips because, as she’s been taught by Peggy, they’re useful as hell.

Now also imagine, with the pressure of retaining a sturdy, wealthy appearance, Sharon Carter having to learn piano and violin, how to sew, how to walk and talk gracefully. These aren’t half as bad and certainly somewhat excessive, but she prefers learning from her language tutor because she knows she’ll need it later on when she’s an agent... And speaking another language to rude boys at school is fun.

Finally, imagine all the every-second-weekends and summers spent at Peggy’s ( and sometimes Uncle Charles’ place, because the library is almost too good to be true and the mansion’s great for playing hide and seek... When Charles doesn’t give up and uses his telepathy ). This little girl, still in cute pigtails and overalls, clambering up trees and playing SHIELD vs HYDRA with Peggy’s husband in the backyard while Peggy makes lemonade in the kitchen, watching from the window. "Go get 'em, Agent!" she yells, and laughs when Sharon manages to throw him onto his back. Sometimes Peggy even lays out the mats, and teaches her a little something ( it’s how Sharon adopted her fighting style: a mix of Peggy’s ruthless use of objects in the surroundings and SHIELD’s standard operative training ). Sharon’s always loved it, being so free… And away from the modest clothing and stuck-up adults that raise their eyebrows when they find out she is the leader of a band of boys at school. At sixteen, she gets her first thigh holster from her aunt. It’s the best present she’s ever received.

a concept: agent carter is a tv show about sharon sitting at peggy’s bed and recalling all the stories she was told as a child, while peggy is in the nursing home and losing her memories. :’) the s2 ends with sharon saying, ‘and the legacy still remains to this day: with me’. the series continues w/ sharon after cacw, briefly starting from before catws as an introduction, going through all the events that happened to the present day. agent carter is actually about both peggy and sharon.

I’ve gotten a bit LOST, I’m looking for CLINT BARTON?“ While Kate had gotten used to this place, it didn’t stop it from CONFUSING her sometimes. She wasn’t even allowed ACCESS to some areas. They didn't think she was MATURE enough. That she was JUST a KID. In Kate’s opinion, STARK should invent a GOOGLE MAPS type app for her. It would at least stop her from looking like an IDIOT. Then again, she didn’t feel many of the AVENGERS even liked her. They probably WANTED her to look like an idiot.
