Lowk my favorite part of furnace is all the antagonists I like them all but Alice is personally my fav so here’s my interpretation of all the characters

also fun little details: Alice’s pin is the national US surgeon general badge given to high ranking ones in the army, each of them has a specific part with furnaces eyes showing but not his mouth warden only having his mouth and alice having her full face since she hasn’t been corrupted by the nectar, and the blood dripping is Alex’s.

(Side note for my furnace design it’s specially from Alex’s memory so no I don’t believe he gen has like a distorted vine looking face in reality he’s an old man with creepy eyes same goes for warden)

Escape From Furnace AU where Sam shows up in the fourth book as Furnace has already decided Alex WILL be his successor, he just needs him to survive the shit show happening first. So he sends Sam out and the entire last two books (Sam lives and is not just shot, that made me so sad), trying to stop Alex and his friends from doing dumb shit. Starts off like a body guard and before turning into a tired parent.
