Cyrion is also pretty great despite extreme adversity, and despite her growing frustrations with his chill attitude as she gets older and angrier about shems, she still tries to make him proud and follow his advice. Once she’s shunted into Warden leadership, she uses Duncan as something of a role model, since he seemed decent enough in the time that she knew him/is really her only frame of reference, and Wynne is a HUGE stabilising influence/source of advice for her.
