(I'd been wondering if Ordan's gender is ever actually mentioned. Ordan's voice being a pitched down version of Ordis' reminds me of how in movies and games, to hide a woman's identity, they will pitch their voice down. i am very curious)
We know that Ordis' entire personality was created by Ballas, separated from who he was as Ordan. We call him him because of Ordis. There are some amab warframes that fit with my thoughts on Ordan, but there are more afab ones that do actually.
HOWL. BLOOD. BONE. CORPSE. MOON. CARNAGE. WARRIOR. PACT.
The newer frame coming out, the Wolf warframe is supposed to have a quest associated with Lua. That would make two warframes that howl and are associated with Lua. (first being Umbra, as he was imprisoned there.)
Why is Lua important for Ordis? When you first unlock Lua, Ordis says "The Moon... Somehow, Ordis actually remembers the last time I was here. Concern for the Operator is at critical levels."
We know that Lua has that judgment theater, where Margulis was put to death. Likely, this is also where Ordan slaughtered immortals and was sentenced to "eternal life". The last time Ordis was there, and able to remember it, was likely because he can remember aspects of his previous life due to searching for his lost fragments (the cycle he's always going through)
prevailing theory I have that his mind and body were separated: his mind became a Cephalon, transformed into a new personality. His body became a warframe, as the infestation would not care about a blood disease. Effectively, being kept alive forever. But when a person is glassed, is a copy of their mind made? Would the leftover person still have a mind? Cloning and copies and things like this come up often in Warframe, since the main story of Warframe is in of itself, multiple philosophy lessons.
Umbra was also a howling beast with a cracked visor screaming and tortured and ugly. We found out Umbra wasn't Ordan, but it was so CLOSE... The wolf may not be Ordan either, but it would be so very interesting if she is, wouldn't it?
I have a part 3 where I'll talk a bit more about Nidus and some interesting things I learned about him while going nuts about Ordan. And then Part 4 is a proper confusing theory!!!
