Warframe finally got the F word pass

I disagree with people who dislike protoframes, I don’t think they’ve really reached the point of over saturation yet, but I do think that DE is making a mistake by bundling every single feature that comes with a given protoframe character all in one package.

Skin voicelines, gemini emotes, KIM conversations, all of that would work beautifully for certain characters if you just cherry picked one or two aspects to make a character unique.

I for one would love to see

A warframe like Umbra that has some sentience left or is built in a way that allowed it to keep its sentience and has its own voicelines baked into the normal frame

KIM conversations with normal characters (talking to Loid twice doesn’t count)

Deluxe skins with special emotes that transition between skins like with gemini skins. (I’m pretty sure this might be what’s going on with the upcoming grendel emote due to the camera deliberately keeping grendel offscreen for a bit)
