On the 11th Hour of the 11th Day. Taken at Bunamargy Friary in Ballycastle, Co Antrim. This is the war memorial graveyard for merchant seafarers lost in the world wars. A poignant reminder. Not all wars were fought for 'our freedom' and perhaps the greatest way to honour those who perished would be to end war. We spotted some @commonwealthwargraves yesterday in the church yard at St Andrews Church, Ampthill. - A quick search on the CWGC website shows that there are 12 casualties buried or commemorated there in total, and provides basic information about their service and deaths.
