Hati and astarion are best frenemies. Muninn likes to see the best in everyone. Hati is skeptical of everyone around her family. So when astarion picked Muninn, hati didn’t like it at all. However by the time Hati came into the picture astarion had already fallen for the half fey. Eventually he showed Hati he would try his best to one day be what Muninn saw in him. However Hati is salty on how astarion started the relationship with muninn and so while they are friends, they also tease and prank each other. Muninn is typically the more dominant one but astarion was seriously just going to feed from them when they accidentally fell over. Hearing hati come to investigate astarion made it look like way more.
as for the new jewelry on astarion. Eventually to walk in the sun again he makes a pact with Yue. He still has sunlight sensitivity and does burn like any other pale skinned person in the sun, it no longer bursts him into flames. So he got bat earrings both as a joke about his vampirism and because yue’s familiars are bats.
