Noah lugged his messenger bag from the backseat of his car and slid the padded strap across his chest, gearing up for a brand new job in an unfamiliar place. Noah was confident that his skill set would prove valuable to Galen. He’d yet to meet a glitch or virus that he couldn’t fix or work around. He took a deep breath and strode across the street when the traffic had yielded to arrive at the warlock’s place of business. Noah shifted his laptop’s weight to his side so he could lift his hand to open the door. He peeked inside and lightly knocked on the interior pane to announce himself. “Hello? It’s Noah.”
