While units of "shot" in the pike-and-shot era often operated in tandem with, as one might guess, pikemen, some operated more independently as regiments of commanded shot as seen here. Sometimes armed, as these lads are, with firelocks and possibly without carrying colours, they're a nice little way to break up the otherwise uniform silhouette of my ECW foot.

A galloper gun for my English Civil War project. With the artillery crews not having sashes or other identifiers, it'll be easy to use them for either side. I normally like very thematic and army-specific paint schemes, but for this period it's nice to have some generic stuff.

I am still alive!

This summer's been a bit rough up here: Been dealing with back problems and storm damage in my home, so I have not painted much! But this stunning gentleman here is my latest, from Warlord's band of clubmen - citizen militias protecting land, livestock, and family from the marauding soldiers of king and parliament during the English Civil War.

This miniature is modelled after Warlord's own CEO, John Stallard.
