Warlung Shows Off New Music Video Ahead of Heavy Psych Sounds Spin

I've been following Houston's WARLUNG almost from the beginning and have to say they've never sounded quite as fresh and vital as they do in 'Optical Delusions' (2020), their upcoming release on Heavy Psych Sounds.

"On Optical Delusions," Warlung reveal, "we found a middle ground between the classic horror theme of the first album and the rock n roll aspect of the second. We continued to experiment with song structures and changing tempos to keep the music dynamic and interesting. This album explores everything we have done before while guiding us into something new."

Weaving together strains of traditional doom and stoner rock, with heavy metal sensibilities and regional influences, Warlung have some very catchy material on their hands this time 'round. Today, Doomed & Stoned is giving you a look and a listen to the second single from the upcoming October 9th release (pre-order here or here), entitled "The Scorpion In The Sand."
