SAD OLD MEN AGAIN

I made a comic. I was brain blasted at like 12 at night wanting to write this and I’ve been working on it for like the past few days!! challenged myself to keep it at least under 10 pages and do not color it because then I would have been working on this far too long… (already felt too long to be real)

I got this idea when thinking about how love as a word can mean so many things and totally can change from what we generally think is love, and I thought it fit these too a lot, especially with the amount of like unrequited love, and the complicated feeling they for one another.

And with the last few panels, I pictured them taking place closer to the end of their partnership before The phone call. I think they’ve had a lot of ups and downs through their whole relationship, but they still have these like very quiet moments with each other where Spamton is allowed to speak freely and truly what he feels without his benefactor being involved. I like the picture that as time went on Spamton actually became a more quieter person because he was afraid of how much his benefactor was actually affecting his words, especially when it came to his relationship with Tenna.
