Call me old-fashioned but I'm a dog kind of guy. German Shepherds specifically, they're smart and loyal and I'd get one if I was home more regularly. Bomb-sniffing dogs have saved my life more than once out in the field.
And penguins. There's just something about penguins I like, but that's classified information.
