Enjoy the holiday spirit with this delicious peppermint mocha that doesn't contain any dairy. Great for holiday parties or cozy nights by the fire.
Ingredients: 1 cup brewed coffee. 1 cup unsweetened almond milk. 2 tbsp cocoa powder. 2 tbsp maple syrup. 1/2 tsp peppermint extract. Vegan whipped cream optional. Crushed candy cane optional.
Instructions: Mix almond milk with water in a saucepan and warm it up over medium-low heat. Add the maple syrup and cocoa powder and mix well until everything is mixed in. Take it off the heat and add the coffee that has been brewed and the peppermint extract. Pour into mugs. If you want, you can add vegan whipped cream and crushed candy cane on top. Enjoy while hot!
