For those who have had Covid recently, how long after it was your still stomach off? Mines not THAT bad but I can’t actually eat a meal without getting nauseous, and I can only stomach eating roughly once a day. Which i think is slowing down my recovery
When the slavers dragged him into the palace, bound in chains, scalp bleeding from his most recent blow to the head, and sold him to the Hutt Cartel for a trifling two thousand fifty credits, sixteen-year-old Ezra Bridger was given a simple choice: dance or be eaten.
He chose the former.
Jabba enjoyed his pretty and well-mannered new pet, dressing him in gauzy translucent silks, glittering jewels, and the loveliest chains that had yet graced one of his slaves, while Ezra, for his part, kept his mouth shut and his hips moving, praying that one day he might find his way out of this salacious hive of gangsters and cutthroats… hopefully before Jabba became bored with him and he suffered the same gruesome fate as all the other slaves before him.
He never expected to be liberated by a handsome and completely bantha-shit crazy man who burst through a palace window one night, swinging a lightsaber and sending the entire erotic dinner party—for which Ezra was unfortunately the chief entertainment that evening—into absolute mayhem.
At the height of the melee, the stranger, who was dressed like some kind of kriffing monk and moved like no man Ezra had ever seen before, leaped upon the table and sliced through Ezra’s chains with a single swipe of his glowing blue plasma blade, then offered the terrified boy his hand.
“I’m Caleb Dume,” said the man with a gentle smile, “Knight of the Jedi Order, and I’ve come to rescue you, Ezra Bridger.”
Q: why are sheith and heith only one letter apart and so easy to mix up?
A: because it’s all about Keith loving the big muscley Hufflepuff who’s all about teamwork and support and gives excellent hugs
so while I’m Here...... I have some Inazuma Go OCs....... I’m working on making an entire team in collaboration with a friend of mine :3c The entire team hasn’t been put together yet but here’s what I’ve got so far and the basic beats of their “story”. I’ll probably post more about individual players in a separate post but:
Matsuoka Junior High is a school that rests at the top of fairly steep inclines out in the country, not too far away from the (in)famous Mannouzaka. Back when Fifth Sector was king, Matsuoka prospered in the public eye with Fifth Sector’s win orders, although things were less-than-perfect behind the scenes. This team had originally been a hodgepodge bunch, a handful of soccer players and the rest joining the club on a whim or because the captain, Hebi Ryutaro, had talked him into it. He cared about each and every one of them, of course--but the same could not be said for the members and each other. On the verge of internal collapse, despite his best efforts, he needed a solution. He loved his team and loved soccer, and so he sought out Fifth Sector for further help.
One day, Hebi Ryutaro disappeared. One day, he came back, with several new students following him and an ability they had only heard about in whispered rumors. Ryutaro welcomed Seeds into their ranks with open arms, and did his best to befriend them in order to work well together. Tension was always high between Matsuoka students and the Seeds that were brought into their ranks to bolster their performance on the field.
Eventually, Fifth Sector collapsed, and the Seeds left, and the soccer team was as it was before. There was something suspicious, however, and it was something star striker Kurosawa Shun was determined to get to the bottom of. Ryutaro was his best friend, and for so long he’d acted distant and just out of reach. He wanted answers, and approached Ryutaro and his twin sister Tsuna to get them as they walked home from school.
An argument ensued. And ensued, and the truth came out. Kurosawa was furious at Ryutaro for several things, but perhaps took the idea that his best friend and star striker wasn’t strong enough to bring them to victory the hardest of all. And in the heat of the moment, Kurosawa bolted from them and dashed across the street. Ryutaro bolted after him.
There was an accident.
Three months later, and the team is still in shock at the loss of their captain and the one person holding the team together. Matsuoka’s soccer team is two weeks away from shutting down entirely.
Enter Sakimori Shinobu. A second year transfer student from Gen’ei, and a goalkeeper from their second team. The air surrounding his old school following the collapse of Fifth Sector is tense and unhappy, and he jumps at the chance to move when his dad gets transferred. He is excited to start out at a new school with a confident foot forward--and nearly stumbles in the door, walking into months and months of conflict and sorrows. Matsuoka’s soccer team is unimpressed but lets him in without even putting forth the effort to give him an entrance exam--why bother, when it will be closed down anyway?
In frustration, Sakimori stays after school during his first day to train alone with Coach Kigurou Isamu, the only person to give him any time of day. While putting things away in the storage shed, Sakimori accidentally stumbles upon a worn soccer ball, and then looks up to see a boy he can see through. It is Hebi Ryutaro, their former captain, possessing the ball and asking him of one last favor as a ghost before he can move on: help his team move on, and save the team from shutting its doors forever.
Sakimori is not a born leader. He has never once been captain of anything, with no real desire to be. But he wants to play soccer, and as he is the only one that seems to be able to see or hear Ryutaro, he concedes and tries to do what he can.
And he has an opportunity, too: the newly re-established Football Frontier Association is looking to hold a good faith tournament for potential scouting for Japan’s national team, the Solar Flare Cup.
Get the team back together. Win the tournament. Put the captain’s spirit at ease!
