It has always been the three of them; never equally weighted, always swinging around each other like rocks on a frozen pond, knocking one another out of the other's orbits. Ilya and Sveta, Sveta and Sasha, Ilya and Sasha. Taking turns being close and being far.
But now he and Sveta are leaving, and there will be no more taking turns.
