*txe deltswap continues to rot and decay in the corner*
*prosemore realises their in the wrong class and leaves*
*underswap takes laugh about the deltaswap`s conflicting roles*
*warpedsun gets booed out of the classroon*
Given how you have three different Deltaswap takes at this point (Warpedsun, Prosemoor, and Aethercrest), do you think you could clarify the differences between them like you did with Temmieswap and Earthsecret to help avoid any confusion?
WARPEDSUN: is an unconventional take on swapped Deltarune. Does not follow the rules at all, it is argued to be its own thing due to having vastly diverse story. Though, WARPEDSUN features swapping chapters, and again, in an unexpected way. Which is the main reason I will not reveal the full role-list until I release more official tracks! -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- PROSEMOOR: is no longer a Deltaswap take and has become a regular roleshift AU under a fresh reboot. So this one instantly gets crossed out as one of the few takes I made. It is argued that PROSEMOOR becomes more of a "What if" type of AU with the roles getting shifted around depending on the circumstance. -=-=-=-=-=-=-=-=- AETHERCREST: the Deltaswap, or at least, my personal ideal interpretation of it. It maintains the consistency of various aspects, but of course, it does not follow the classicswap rules at all! It swaps the characters within the chapter than between the chapter. It also follows the main boss and secret boss swap formula, along with putting people who are related to the respective secret boss to much bigger role, for example: Seam swaps with Rouxls Kaard, the Addisons swap with Sweet, Cap'n, Cakes, etc. Most if not all, AETHERCREST swaps family, too. Despite the consistency, AETHERCREST also tries to make a brand new story based on the swap, so it's not a 1:1 reskin. I mean, having Jevil be the main antagonist would change the entire chapter, wouldn't it? And MC Noelle can be handled in so many interesting ways than just silent protagonist under outside force's control all over again.
What's the whole deal with Frisk being a mage
And blind, for that matter
Mages still exist in underswap, even until present day. Frisk happened to be a born mage, a dark mage to be specific. It's not actually bad thing despite having a "dark" character in it. It just means it helps with balance between dark and light. Without dark, there'll be too much light and that is definitely not a good thing. The same can be said if there's too much dark. One day, Frisk noticed that they had magical ability. However... they didn't know how to use them properly, so an accident occurred that led to them losing their eyes and their ability to see. The damage was irreversible, not even a healing magic could recover their eyes. Note that there are certain spells that are permanent and you should seriously consider everything before you use them. Much later after that accident, they fell into the subterranean and met Master Gerson Boom. He brought them back to New Hope palace to see the former emperor, Asgore, and the empress, Toriel. They decided to take care of the Frisk and raised them as their own child. Note that this is before Asriel existed. More than often, Frisk toured through the subterranean with Master Gerson and his student, a child-figure even, Rex (Monster Kid). They even got taught by Master Gerson to do magic stuff and what their purpose is as a dark mage. As they entered adolescence, they became Master Frisk, the only human guardian in the subterranean and the angel of hope. They were believed to be the one who would restore the WARPEDSUN balance. Sadly, a dark mage wasn't not enough, they needed a light mage too. That's why Chara existed. On the other hand, they might never be able to see things again, but they can feel exactly what's happening and will take action for that matter.
What are the swaps in Warpedsun if you dont mind me asking?
So far, most lightners retain the same swaps from its undertale replacement! However, as for darkners, since there are a lot of characters and barely any clear pair to swap with, the place of each dark world swap. Meaning the unused classroom and the library (along with their people) switch places! Until then, here are the following lightner swap choices:
Kris swaps with Ralsei
Susie swaps with Berdly
Noelle swaps with Dess.
Toriel swaps with Asgore.
Rudolph swaps with the Mayor.
Asriel swaps with Chara.
Undyne swaps with Alphys.
Napstablook swaps with Mettaton.
Sans swaps with Papyrus
Mad Dummy swaps with Ruins Dummy.
Catti swaps with Catti.
Catti's Mom swaps with her father.
Jockington swaps with Bratty.
Monster Kid swaps with their nonexistent sister.
Snowy swaps with Chilly.
Burgerpants swaps with Grillby.
Nice Cream Guy swaps with Muffet.
The Warrior swaps with Purple Monster.
Moving on to darkners:
Ralsei swaps with Kris.
Lancer and King swap with Queen.
Rouxls Kaard swaps with Tasque Manager and Swatch.
Seam and K. Round swap with Sweets, Cap'n, K_K.
Jevil swaps with Spamton.
Nubert swaps with The Original Starwalker.
The Puzzle Masters swap with Hacker.
Clover swaps with Werewerewire
Rudinn swaps with Werewire/Plug Boys.
Hathy swaps with Tasque.
Jigsawry swaps with Virovirokun
Ponman swaps with Poppup
Bloxer swaps with Ambyu-Lance
Rabbick swaps with Maus
Rudinn Ranger swaps wtih Mauswheel
Head Hathy swaps with Swatchlings
Here we have the main theme for the swap universe now!
really cool blog and soundtrack! also a question if this got ¨deltaruned¨ would ralsei be replaced by some kinda of monster kid like darkner or would it be something different
The full answer to WARPEDSUN list of swap choices, anon, is right over here! Although to directly answer the question, Ralsei is replaced with Kris and vice versa. Furthermore, MK (in WARPEDSUN) swaps with their sister, Edna, a wyvern dragor with a trait of justice.
I'm guessing too much Light or Darkness would still cause The Roaring in this case?
The roaring might still be a deltarune thing in this swap universe. In this case however, it's moreso that chaos is triggered by not actually bringing something out, but it depends on their action. For example, the grave event which leads to dark and light mages exiling monsterkind. Light, dark, monsters, each plays a specific part in harmony-keeping according to the WARPEDSUN symbiology. Who knows how the outcome would play out now that the balance has been shifted immeasurably. A huge war can happen anytime and that's where they'll all face the suffering for all eternity.
