Theurivo is a Blood Elf Prot Paladin. He rose to prominence when he helped defeat Ultraxion. During the Pandaria campaign, he took too much of a liking to the rich food and relaxed lifestyle of the Valley of the Four Winds, so much so that some joke that he is half Pandaran. He loves archeology, and has a large collection of artifacts. When not fighting the Iron Horde, he is out researching and collecting artifacts, particularly related to ogre spellbreakers, to compare with blood elf techniques
SPELLBREAKER THEURIVOFound in the first wing of the Brightblade Manor raid, this blood elf paladin was seduced by promises of luxury and fortune into helping steal priceless artifacts. Theurivo is found guarding Belloc’s “fossil” collection, time-locked specimens of rare creatures, and will fight to the death the secure his and Belloc’s comfortable future.
THEURIVO - GENERAL ABILITIESSpellbreaker Theurivo regularly uses the following abilities.
Spellbreaker’s Speed: With each consecutive melee attack against the same target, Theurivo’s attack speed increases by 5%. This effect stacks.
Mana Unleashed: Theurivo collects proportional amounts of energy, focus, mana, rage, and runic power spent by players in his mana bar. When full, he spends the mana to create 1-3 Mana Elementals that deal heavy Arcane damage with their melee attacks.
Spellbreaker’s Seal: Every 24 seconds, Theurivo places a Spellbreaker’s Seal on all players. If the target uses a healing spell during this time, they are silenced for 5 seconds. Lasts 2 seconds.
Arcane Torrent: Every 30 seconds, Theurivo winds up an arcane blast in a wide cone in front of him. After 4 seconds he casts it, dealing heavy Arcane damage to players in the effect and pacifying them for 4 seconds. Then, he casts Arcane Defense.
Arcane Defense: Theurivo takes -100% reduced damage against attacks from the front. Channeled. Lasts 10 seconds. After finishing Arcane Defense’s channel, Theurivo uses Arcane Torrent in a cone behind him, then resumes normal combat.
TIME-LOCKED BEASTSAround the room are 5 time-locked beasts. At 80%, 60%, and 40% health remaining, Theurivo casts a disenchanting spell that frees a random beast to fight with him until slain. Killing a beast grants all players a +10% damage dealt and healing dealt buff, and grants Theurivo a +10% damage dealt buff.
Enchanted Dragonhawk: The dragonhawk fixates on a random target every 15 seconds, moving towards them at 50% movement speed and leaving pools of fire in a 6-yard radius behind it. The pools last for 20 seconds. If the dragonhawk reaches its target, it begins to breathe enormous gouts of fire, dealing heavy periodic Fire damage to all players within 100 yards.
Imperial Quilen: The quilen does not respond to threat, instead charging in straight lines to random locations every 8 seconds. Players in the path of the quilen take heavy Physical damage and are knocked back 8 yards. Whenever the quilen charges, it leaves a pool of spirit energy in an 8-yard radius in its previous location. While in the pool, players take moderate periodic Shadow damage and a -50% debuff to damage dealt and healing dealt.
Obsidian Nightwing: The nightwing deals large amounts of damage with its melee attack and must be tanked. It also creates a Ghostly Tol’vir every 4 seconds which slowly moves from one end of the room to the other. Players in the path of a Ghostly Tol’vir take heavy periodic Shadow damage.
Sandstone Drake: The drake does not respond to threat, instead channeling Sandstone Quake for the duration. Sandstone Quake drops a large boulder in a random location every 2 seconds after a 5 second delay, dealing heavy Physical damage to players in a 6-yard radius and stunning them for 5 seconds.
Spirit Rylak: The rylak deals large amounts of damage with its melee attack and must be tanked. It also breathes lightning every 15 seconds in a large cone after a 4 second cast time, dealing heavy Nature damage to players in the effect and reducing their movement speed by 50% for 6 seconds.
DEFEATTheurivo’s body contains the raid’s loot, most notably a chance at the [Essense of the Dragonhawk] transformation mount.
