I'm trying this new "get a job" approach where I don't pretend to be someone I'm not just for the sake of the job and state what I want from the job clearly (at least $10/hr wherever I go because frankly I've been working for minimum wage for five years, it's time to step it up, and Oregon's minimum wage is basicallyl $9/hr so I don't think asking for $1 more is that bad, a few other things like no cold calling, and also consistent schedule). It might take me longer to find a job, but at least when I do I'll stay there for a while (in theory, anyways)
