Warren's wings or your power? Both strength and intellect.
I promised Warren I'd save his wings at whatever cost, and I'm holding that true.

my character’s personal thoughts about yours
If it wasn’t obvious, Betsy has… mixed feelings about Warren. Granted they haven’t ever talked, but the few times she caught him flying, there’s always that strange mixture of guilt, fondness, and that ever present ache that was supposed to be sorrow. There’s the reminder of who he’ll become, both good and bad, the man she loves and the man she kills. She hates that he’s here because he shouldn’t find out what happened to him, he shouldn’t be facing himself (not himself, but at least his face) and questioning what happened only to be met with no answer.
It’s one of the few instances where she’s grateful for X-Force and its secrecy because it means he won’t ever seek her out for answers only to turn on her in anger. She’s simultaneously selfish in that aspect because she wants him to be able to go back one day and live through (most) things all over again, including their relationship, because despite everything, being with him were some of her happiest days.
Careful Warren, his claws leave cuts more superficial than you.

Omg.
Picky not pricky.
Deep Down in Florida
Hank left the Headmaster’s office with a bit of a grin on his face. When he reached the lab he pulled out his tablet, selecting the messaging application and adding both Bobby and Warren to the recipients list. The message he typed out was this:
Managed to get us the jet for about 12 hours, with permission. Who wants to go visit the Kennedy Space Center?
Picking up the tablet he heads up to his room to change into his civilian clothes. If they’d be going anywhere he wanted to be ready.

Even though Bobby is indisputably his best friend, Warren is Hank’s closest friend. The two seem to understand each other on such a fundamental level that you’d think them to have known each other since birth. While they may not always get along, they both certainly can understand each other fully.
When Warren is feeling down Hank knows just how to cheer him up, by challenging him to do something better. And when it’s Hank that’s in the dumps, well Warren treats him to a night on the town, a classy one that is. Somehow, they always wind up at that Museum of Modern Art.

The realization...it took a moment to hit. In the meantime, Cluster narrowed her eyes within the visor of her black-and-white mask, trying to determine where she'd seen this fellow before. There was an air of familiarity that went deeper than just a single meeting, there was something in his eyes---oh.
"Warren?"
