P'TONIA laid in her "bedroom" in the ship wreckage she lives in. She stirs in her sleep, and then she awoke, gasping. Dazed and confused, she stepped out of her bedroom, where she was greeted by visitors.
PERLAS: You're awake, Tonya! How are you feeling? I know that sting made you exhausted and hungry, come sit!
P'TONIA: Oh, yum! I'm starving...
PERLAS: This pink haired youngling is Luca, while the other brave youngling is Alon, and I am sure they have something to say to you.
LUCA: I apologize for stinging you, Miss Tonya. I didn't know you were a friend. I hope the antidote is making you feel better now.
ALON: Yeah...I'm sorry. You looked...weird. With your skin and eyes...you look human now though?
PERLAS: Alon.
ALON: I'm curious! Just curious! I read from the archives about fairies. They have vivid skin! Are you a fairy, Tonya?
PERLAS: Alon. That was rude.
P'TONIA: No, it's okay! It was my fault, Perlas. I wasn't disguised. I understand if they saw me that way.
P'TONIA listened in as PERLAS, LUCA, and ALON discussed something else.
PERLAS: What are you doing here? I told you, I'll visit by week's end.
LUCA: Her Majesty wanted to ask about the investigation you're conducting about that...strange vessel. About its origin, which kin owns it, and the like.
ALON: I doubt it's human-made. The vessel is so different!
P'TONIA gasped.
P'TONIA: Vessel? Not human-made? My shuttle! That's mine!
ALON: That's yours???
P'TONIA: Well, it's a long story...
PERLAS: Go on, Tonya, you can tell them.
P'TONIA: That vessel you saw, that's my shuttle. I was surveying this planet, this world, aboard that vessel. And then it crashed. You wonder why my skin is different when I'm not disguised? I came from Galatea, a planet far from this world.
PERLAS: And she's the princess of Galatea!
ALON: That's so cool! You're not from here - you're from the stars! And a princess too! Princes of the stars!
LUCA: I never found you weird, Tonya. Unlike this guy. You look pretty, just like me. I may not be royal, but if you were our folk, you would be a mauve stinger, just like me!
PERLAS: Alright, calm down, both of you. What does Her Majesty want with the vessel? I am sure you're not only here for the investigation.
ALON: Not sure but...I heard from my superiors they want to destroy it.
P'TONIA: Destroy it? No! How would I get home?
ALON: It's cursed!
P'TONIA: Cursed? No, no! It is not! It is made up of different materials and outfitted with an advanced artificial matrix -
Ominously, LUCA interjected.
LUCA: The vessel was salvageable when it crashed. But then the ocean rumbled, the sky darkened. There was a storm brewing. From that storm came lightning, and it struck your vessel, cut in half. The Grand Oracle and I felt...uneasy. There was nothing to be felt when it initially crashed, but when the storm came, it's as if the heavens, nay, the Watcher herself is angry at you. We feel that you are being punished.
P'TONIA: P-Punish? I...what...It wasn't my fault! How could I deserve -
PERLAS: Why don't we save this conversation next time? Tonya, eat and rest. You need that after being stung. Come, Alon, Luca. I'll walk you back to the beach.
PERLAS led ALON and LUCA out of P'TONIA's hideout and back to the shores of Sulani. Meanwhile, P'TONIA sat alone in disbelief. She asks herself,
P'TONIA: Why?
