In the middle of the night there appeared a medium-sized box wrapped in green metallic paper with a bright red bow. The contents of the box were far more astounding than the box's garish appearance. It was a wooden carving of Donatello's main work table, complete with miniature versions of the beakers, wires, and screens found thereupon, carved into the table.
The present had been planted on the turtle's bedside table sometime ago, and Donnie finally decided that it was appropriate to open the box. He gaped at the wooden carvings, taking the small table and setting it next to the lamp.
He arranged the beakers to resemble the setup on his actual lab table and grinned once he had completed the look.
Once Uncle Raph came back he was getting the biggest hug.
