Among the Indian mythologies, I've never been a fan of Ramayana. So, when Ram Chandra Series came out, I had no interest in reading it. However, as luck would have it, God wanted me to know about Amish version of Sita and we all know He always finds a way. So, my friend gifted me second book of Ram Chandra Series, Sita Warrior of Mithila, by Amish. I've been delaying reading it until today. I've finished only 50 pages so far and I have a strong feeling that I am in love with Amish's "human" Sita. Amish's Sita is much more than just a loyal wife. She is a warrior, aggressive, compassionate, and, above all, someone who can take care of herself. Amish is a genius.
