Warwick is the first stable home Meghan’s had since she was eight. She was born in San Diego, California and lived there with her parent, along with her brother. Her parents weren’t extremely rich, her family just had enough money to where they wouldn’t have to worry about paying bills, buying groceries or getting clothes for Meghan and her brother. Her Father never really cared for her and her brother, which pushed her towards her Mother more. The two of them became closer to their Mother than their Father, due to their Father’s distance. He’d leave for a few weeks, come back and apologize, take them somewhere special then he’d do the same thing again. After awhile, Meghan caught on to what her Father was doing, and refused to spend time with him after he came back then left again. When she turned nine, all hell broke loose. Her Mother had been sleeping with a man known as Sawyer, promising that he’d move her and her kids out of California to start a new and happy life. The man later swindled her family out of their savings, and Meghan’s Father found out about everything, including the affair. In a rage, he shot her Mother then turned the gun on himself while Meghan and her brother hid under her bed and watched. At the funeral, she began a letter to the con-man, promising to find him and tell him what he had done to her family. Her pen dried out, then a stranger at the funeral gave her another pen. She finished the letter, even though she promised her Aunt she wouldn’t. Meghan never got along with her Aunt, which made her runaway with her brother when she was 13. Since her brother was 18, he was able to find a room to rent, the people who she moved in with didn’t ask any questions as long as he had the money to pay for the room. How did he pay the fee for her room? Her brother became a con, conning people out of their money and using it for their own good. Meghan picked up her brother’s habits as well. Usually, Meghan claimed to be a psychic who could speak to the dead, and made up something in order to get money from the loved-ones of the deceased. Her brother and her once tried to swindle a couple, but Meghan ended the deal when she found out they had a kid, not wanting the kid to go through what she had. After she turned sixteen, her brother was arrested for fraud and stealing. Meghan continued to stay at the place they were renting, and began conning people more. Six months ago, things went haywire when she accidentally conned a cop, and he arrested her. The authorities made a deal with her- she’d go live with her Aunt and she wouldn’t have to do jail-time. Meghan tried to get along with her Aunt, but she continued to butt heads with her. So, once her Aunt grew tired of Meghan’s rebellions she sent her to Warwick, not wanting to deal with her anymore. Meghan doesn’t mind Warwick, she likes it, considering it’s the most stable house she’s lived in since she was a girl. She wants to change, but she has no idea how to.
