The Musconetcong Valley Double Lime Kilm in Washington (Warren County), #NewJersey. It sits on land owned by the Hawke Pointe Golf Club and is located just off Route 31 on the ShopRite of Washington's entrance road. There is little known about this kiln in particular, according to the marker at the site, and it does not appear in an 1874 Warren County Atlas. The kin is easily accessible with parking and a historic marker. It has been preserved and interpreted because of Richard Cotton, the owner of the Hawk Pointe Golf Club. Cotton, a proponent of sustainable development and a supporter and board member of the Musconetcong Watershed Association, restored and preserved the kiln for its historic and aesthetic value. #nj #njhistory #SpreadTheHistory #historygirl #history #travelblog #travelblogger #blogger #blog #history #ushistory #history #americanhistory #explorenj #njspots #jerseycollective #journeythroughjersey #architecture #archi_ologie #washington #washingtonnj #warrencountynj #nrhp #limekiln #musconetcongvalley (at Washington Township, Warren County, New Jersey) https://www.instagram.com/p/CBCLDPdDH-z/?igshid=161llnf4t3olf
