𝐀𝐓 𝐅𝐈𝐑𝐒𝐓, 𝐑𝐄𝐍𝐄𝐒𝐌𝐄𝐄 𝐃𝐈𝐃𝐍'𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐊 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐀𝐒 𝐁𝐀𝐃 𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐓 𝐒𝐄𝐄𝐌𝐄𝐃. there was only a little sting, a little blood, but as time went on the cut on her arm had gotten worse in pain, in the blood that stained the side of her arm. how did she manage to hurt herself ? it was simple, really, & a reason she wants to kick herself for. walking in the woods, as she often did taking in the nature that surrounded their home or the meadow, eyes failed to look carefully at the ground. a tree root covered by overgrown plants had caught her foot causing the teen to fall forward. when she did, as she tried to catch herself, her arm had gotten cut on a rock. ❛ it didn't seem so bad on the walk home . . ❜ she says almost sheepishly, cursing her apparent in inhertiance of being clumsy. ❛ does it look like it'll need stitches ? please say no-- ❜

𝐕𝐄𝐑𝐍𝐀 𝐖𝐎𝐔𝐋𝐃 𝐁𝐄 𝐀 𝐋𝐈𝐀𝐑 𝐈𝐅 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐒𝐀𝐈𝐃 𝐓𝐇𝐄𝐘 𝐇𝐀𝐃𝐍’𝐓 𝐄𝐗𝐏𝐄𝐂𝐓𝐄𝐃 madeline to wrap her hands around either of her arms & push her backward until her back hit the wall. madeline always did like to have some semblance of control, of feel as if she were the ones calling the shots especially when so much of her life had been being looked down on by others—men, mostly who laughed at her ideas or took credit for them. madeline usher wouldn’t be a by or subline forever on some rich, arrogant dickhead’s report or acceptance speech forever. verna, as generous as they were, had granted the ushers their deal & now this is as one of their many checks in. ( wrought with tension just like that kiss they shared on new year’s eve. even slightly older now, madeline is still beautiful. )

𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐑𝐀𝐈𝐍 𝐇𝐀𝐃 𝐉𝐔𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐎𝐏𝐏𝐄𝐃, 𝐁𝐔𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐌𝐈𝐒𝐓 𝐒𝐓𝐈𝐋𝐋 𝐅𝐀𝐋𝐋𝐒 𝐓𝐎 𝐖𝐄𝐓 𝐓𝐇𝐄 𝐇𝐎𝐎𝐃 of her jacket. hands stuffed into pockets as bella exits her truck, careful not to step in the wrong mud puddle that could mean sending her straight onto her face. approching the red barn, hand gently rasps knuckled against wood as her way of knocking. lips wear a smile, friendly, but on the inside she feels a tight ball of guilt. why was she here ? to see jacob, but also to apologize for how much of a bad friend she's been. ( her excuse isn't really an excuse. but, after edward left her the way he did . . mentally she hadn't been in the best spot. so, she distanced herself when she shouldn't have. ) ❛ hey, jake, ❜ spoken as she takes a step inward. body is slightly tense, awaiting what she assumes will either be the cold shoulder or understanding. ❛ your dad told me you were out here. i, uh, . . what're you doing ? ❜

𝐈𝐅 𝐃𝐀𝐌𝐎𝐍 𝐋𝐈𝐊𝐄𝐃 𝐓𝐎 𝐃𝐎 𝐎𝐍𝐄 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐍𝐆, 𝐈𝐓 𝐖𝐀𝐒 𝐈𝐍𝐃𝐔𝐋𝐆𝐄 𝐇𝐈𝐌𝐒𝐄𝐋𝐅. in blood, in good times, in other people. he would much rather spend his immortality the ways he had than like his brother who pretend to be human, who has some moral code that he tries to live by. he understands why, after killing so many, but it was all so boring. what was the point of living forever if you didn't have fun or do whatever the hell you want ? morality & rules are for humans. rosalie was no different . . he decided he wanted her, & she wanted the same, & that was all he needed to know. now, both of them lay sprawled out on his black sheets with her body hovering over his own, fingers digging into skin at her hips. dark eyes trained on her expression, on the noises that escape from her chest.

smirk presses against lips, hands taking control of her hips & how they move against him. ❛ like this, rosalie, ❜ instructs the vampire, slowing down the roll of her hips so that she takes him slow & deeper than her previous movements. it'll feel much better, damon says in his mind. one hand leaves her hip to reach upward, palm on the back of her neck as he brings her down to press a rough kiss to her mouth. teeth nip at her lips, ❛ tell me how good it feels, rose. ❜
