I know you have interest and experience with farming and permaculture. Do you have any recommendations for books to read to learn more about permaculture and socially and environmentally responsible farming that you would be willing to share?
so I don’t have any book recs, really, but!
i’ve been doing a lot of reading at modern farmer lately, lots of great news, how-tos, etc
if you live in the states, i’d recommend looking for your local conservation district, as they’ll have programs and resources
see what kinds of community programs any universities nearby might have, especially if they’re known for their agricultural department, in my area we have OSU Extension
you can also check out NRCS and, bc i feel the community aspect of agriculture is very important, your local grange (what you find there will vary from grange to grange, some are made up of older, more conservative farmers, and some tend to be made up of younger, more environmental activism oriented people)
I hope that helps!!
