this isn't her first rodeo. she'll be the first to tap herself on the back for being good with children & this especially applies to her adorable godsons. michael & henry are the coolest little guys in the world if she does say so herself. well, her & literally everyone else at the BAU. every time she's around them, she can't help but let her mind wander – scenarios where true love exists for her outside of fantasy & she's not scared of it, kids, a family of her own... the whole nine. it's not something she likes to think about much. not with the life she's chosen for herself. but jj & will are making it work. & they got so far. maybe it's not that far out of reach for the rest of them mortals, is it ? a kiss to each of the boys' temples later, she puts away the story book & sneaks out of their room, immediately spotting a restless figure pacing through the living room. This had been a conversation that he had been having himself for the last couple of nights. How to do it? what to say? It was a complicated situation, but he knew Guillermo and he knew that the longer he kept this to himself, the worse it was going to be. "Now, don't get mad or too crazy. I can perfectly explain things to you."

WITH  GREG  ,  MASON  ,  AND  TOM  CHATTING  IN  THE  KITCHEN  ,  sebastian  is  left  with  maddy  in  the  living  room  —  the  others  might  call  it  babysitting  ,  but  sebastian  doesn’t  see  it  that  way  one  bit  (  especially  considering  bumblebee  is  with  them  ,  weaving  in  and  out  of  their  legs  as  they  sit  on  the  couch  )  .  of  course  ,  the  sixteen  year  old  starts  with  a  BOMBSHELL  of  an  announcement  ,  and  all  sebastian  can  do  is  grin  and  shake  his  head  .  ❝  what  ,  your  dads  ?  or  mason  ?  you  call  him  uncle  mason  ,  right  ?  i’ve  heard  good  things  !!  ONLY  GOOD  THINGS  !!  ❞  he  nods  enthusiastically  .  ❝  think  i  heard  you  want  to  be  a  writer  ?  IS  THAT  TRUE  ?  ❞  sebastian  takes  a  sip  from  his  wine  and  reaches  down  to  pet  bumblebee’s  fluffy  tail  as  it  sashays  past  him  .  the  white  cat  is  purring  up  a  storm  ,  happy  to  have  the  party  of  friends  all  gathered  in  the  greenemoran  brownstone  ,  and  sebastian  doesn’t  blame  bee  one  bit  .  THIS  IS  NICE  .  their  first  dinner  party  in  the  new  house  ,  and  now  he  gets  to  officially  meet  tom  and  greg’s  daughter  .  ❝  you  know  i  teach  english  ,  right  ?  i’m  a  professor  over  at  nyu  ,  so  maybe  i  can  help  out  a  bit  .  if  mason  is  uncle  mason  ,  that  makes  me  uncle  sebastian  at  some  point  ,  too  ,  so  . . .  i’m  here  to  offer  my  WISDOM  and  sage  advice  .  do  you  plan  on  studying  creative  writing  when  you  reach  college  ,  or  maybe  journalism  instead  ?  ❞  his  eyebrows  perk  up  .
