An Incurable Case of Love (2020)

*An old entry in my journal from earlier this year when I handled my 'what i watch' journal manually. Although the review is brief and somewhat lacking in hindsight, I want this to be a part of my record here.*

This was such a pleasure to watch back in 2020, and it was equally a pleasure to watch it this year. I absolutely loved how it was the female lead pursuing the male lead and how the usual tropes were kinda turned upside down. My love goes for all the characters. While both Sakura and Tendou were annoying at times, Sakura with her over-the-top optimism and childish behaviour and Tendou with his tsundere nature, both of them managed to worm into my heart. The story line was really nice and I felt as though the relationships had a variety of different tropes and was hence refreshing to watch the side characters' stories.

I absolutely love how supportive the other characters are. It's cheesy. It may be a little cringe. But I will watch it over and over again as many times as I want. This is definitely my comfort series. Might even rewatch it again this year. It is a show that I watched and obsessed over with Tasha in 2020. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

Overall, 9.5/10.
