Love At First Dance -

I do appreciate a meeting with a little attitude so that was fun.

I don't mind the fiancee.  She actually seems like a nice woman and appears to love him and is supportive.  There's gotta be something wrong though for us to accept him pretty much having an emotional affair.  

I'm liking the ease the leads have together.  They have some good banter but also some genuine conversations.

We learn the dude isn't into his office job which the fiancee is super into.  That's one for the con column.

Fiancee doesn't want to go into the pond so obviously it's over between them.  I wouldn't want to go in that water either.  I'm sure it's gross.

I really like Becca as a leading lady.  She just seems really normal and doesn't play things too over-the-top.  Hopefully she’s in one of the 32,968 upcoming Christmas movies.

The fiancee is very pretty.  She kind of looks like a mix of Meghan Ory and Jordana Brewster.

I love Hope's outfits a lot.

I'm liking this movie but let's see how the ending plays out.  Hopefully there's nothing weird that ruins it.

Eric goes with Hope to her audition and then blows off work to spend the day with her.  That's not concerning for his upcoming wedding.

He chose to leave the business!  He's choosing happiness!!!!  It must be nice to be rich and not have to worry about keeping your job so, you know, you can afford to live.  These movies are not relatable because everyone always has money and great jobs, etc.  Okay, so he didn't choose happiness but he will, obvi.  At least Hope is.

They said their goodbyes but they don't want to say goodbye!!!

The wedding is off!  At least it was a mature conversation about how they don't want the same things and all that stuff.

He showed up in London, of course.  And they danced!  That's cute.  Good ending!  Pretty good movie!

Royally Ever After -

I like when the couple is already a couple.  We don't get that very often and it changes the whole vibe. They're already in love and kissing and whatnot.

Surprise, he's a prince!  I would be so pissed at him.  They've been dating for a year.  A YEAR.  And now when he's decided to propose he finally gets around to spilling the beans about something life-changing.  Really not cool.  Like I get that he didn't want to lead with that and wanted to find someone who loved him for him but... yikes.  This doesn't impact him at all but it changes her life completely.

Ugh.  She's so annoying when she's meeting his parents.  Did he not prepare her for anything?  She mistakes the butler for the king... since he apparently didn't bother to show her pictures of his family?  Wasn't she looking them up?  They're going the dumb American girl route.  She's so peppy and... it's kind of over-the-top.  I feel like that's Danny's fault though.  She was blindsided with this.

The sister sabotaged her, of course.

I honestly hate Sarah so much.  She has no idea how to handle herself and has no respect for the clear rules of the castle/family.  She also doesn't shut her mouth.  Like, okay, this is new for you and the family is intimidating but come on.  Have a little bit of class.

That landscape is beautiful.  The best part of this movie so far.

Now her parents are here.  Great.

The King and Queen are way cuter than Sarah and Daniel.

She doesn't accept his proposal????  That's harsh.  Danny made his choice to give up eventually being king for love.  He clearly gave it some thought and knew what he was giving up but she doesn't respect him to make that choice for himself.  That's not fair of her to think that she knows what's best for him.  This is his life.

Of course he goes to New Jersey to fix things and propose to her.  She ruins it by saying there needs to be doves???  I know she was joking but still.  You’re the one who walked away from him... be happy that he even came after you.

This movie was so frustrating.  I don’t think there was really any way it could have been saved either.  Maybe a different female lead.  The actress was fine but how they wrote her was very off-putting to me.

One Winter Weekend -

This one was okay.  I was more into the Megan and Sean romance which btw was so refreshing to see.  They were fun.  With the other two, I was kind of annoyed with all the secrets.  They had some cute moments but I just didn’t care for the plot.  That trope or whatever always leads to such a dumb conflict.

I don’t believe there was any mention of dead parents but I was kind of distracted during parts of this so maybe I missed it.  Let me know if I did so I can add it to the chart please.  On that note, I added a new ‘shirtless’ category and I’m keeping track of the lead’s occupation now too.  So far, 2/3 have been writers.  How original.  Also, I’m putting Taylor down for having brown hair in this movie since she’s not super blonde and clearly she’s a natural brunette (but aren’t they all?).
