A lot of folks probably know about this already but I am fascinated by this Twitch channel called watchmeforever which runs an AI-generated Seinfeld 24/7. It’s got these nostalgic old PS1-adjacent type visuals and dialogue almost in the wheelhouse of sitcom writing and keeps having these weird self-referential generated conversations. I’m enamored.

These creatures WILL become self aware.

AI Seinfeld getting suspended on twitch because it devolved into transphobic nonsense is a pretty good case to maybe start hard-coding measures into machine learning models to keep them from parrotting nazis or maybe at least stop training them on unfiltered internet posts

I might be obsessed with Nothing Forever. Still call it ‘Feinberg’ in my heart, though.

Just to go off the previous reblog as well. Nothing Forever is sometimes funny, often times barely comprehensible, but the real charm is in the Forever part of it.

When inevitably it's all over and the fad has run its course (and it always does) what will be left is the boiled-down best parts, entirely preserved through 60 second clips, clipped exclusively by actual viewers.

There's a very "keep circulating the tapes" feel to the show as a result.
